Truckin’ Pizza is a full service wood fired brick oven on wheels. Our mission is simple, to serve.

At a young age I found my passion for culinary arts in my grandparents kitchen. At that time it could have been more of a love for eating the food than the actual cooking. By the age of seven there was no doubt in my mind that I was going to be a Chef. The day I was legally able to work I found a weekend job washing dishes at 6 am ready to earn my spot on the line.

I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America’s bachelor program in 2009, worked in one of New York City’s top steakhouse restaurants before moving back to Portland to join the up and coming restaurant scene. Working for the Grill Room and Fire and Company I found my love for wood fired cooking.

In 2018 I became a father and at the same time got the opportunity to build out a kitchen and create a menu from the ground up. It’s funny how becoming a parent makes you want to level up everything in your life. I jumped on board with Dunstan Tap and Table. Through the pivot of 2020 and the take out frenzy, pizza seemed like the best idea for survival. So I set out to create what I thought to be the perfect pizza. I always knew that one day I would go back to cooking with fire and that is where the inspiration for Truckin’ Pizza was born.

I am so grateful for the places I’ve worked and the people I’ve worked with that have gotten me to this point. I am so excited to share Truckin Pizza with you, its going to be fire!!!!
